"EVERY STORY TOLD IS A LIFE LIVED AND EVERY PICTURE TELLS A STORY"

Facial recognition, (in which women outperform men) is used in solving many forensic cases & can also be used to verify photographic treasures of the past. Hopefully as AI becomes more available to both science & the public, historically valuable photographs will not be lost forever! Each of us can become a "history detective", and use them to sort facts from fiction.
"The evidence is out there!" ... and here on "ALIAS DICTUS OUTLAW LEGENDS".
The most famous OUTLAW LEGEND - JESSE WOODSON JAMES
"A legend is an unverifiable story handed down from the past or a famous & admired person."
"An outlaw is a person who has broken law & remains a fugitive, formally deprived
of all legal rights & protections, meaning they could be harmed or killed w/ impunity."
Outlaws were secretive, deceptive, used aliases & families hid them out of shame.
They seldom left evidence/provenance behind.
Today's technology makes it possible to separate more facts from fiction.
It all depends on which story you prefer.
Jesse Woodson James was a boy whose life was interrupted by family tragedies & a war he became part of as a teenager. The horrors he experienced were life changing.
Over 70% of sociopaths have a history of childhood trauma / abuse.
Judge him as you will, but he was a true survivor.
Like many, for him the war never ended. He left it with a bullet in his chest, received while
attempting to surrender to Union troops under a white flag, despite the promise of pardons.
"Every rose has it's thorn".

There appears to have been something suspicious going on in St. Joseph, MO in 1882.
The undertaker in the famous post mortem of Jesse James said to be Charles Sidenfaden, looks a lot like Elias "Cap" Ford- brother of Robert & Charlie Ford. (left ) He's a bit older in our photo.
Is this a GOTCHA? Why was "Cap" Ford there? Wait until you find out where he ended up!
He became famous for more than this photograph! We found him!
DICK LIDDIL
Bushwacker, Guerrilla Raider, James-Younger Gang member. Liddil was a cross-over from Quantrill's Raiders to the James Gang. But he and Jesse had been friends long before the war.
What role did he play in the Jesse James death hoax?
